Biography

COL Dan Magee is a medical logistician with 24 years experience covering the entire medical logistics spectrum from medical company through medical center and staff assignments in the Office of the Army Surgeon General and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs). COL Magee was assigned to the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Program in 1997 as the Army's Senior Service Representative, and in 1999 after completing the Advanced Program Managers and Executive Program Management Courses at the Defense System Management College, COL Magee was appointed the DMLSS Program Manager in June 1999.

COL Magee received an Electronic Commerce Pioneer Award for DMLSS at an awards luncheon in July 2000. He was the recipient of the Federal Computer Weekly Federal Top 100 Award presented at the 12th Annual Federal 100 Awards Dinner in July 2001. He was recognized by the Federation of Government Information Processing Council's Intergovernmental Solutions Award in 2002. Recently received the e-Business Transformation Award (Team), SecurE-Biz Leadership Award for 2003.
