Stuart C. Belkin, M.D.
Dr. Belkin graduated Phi Beta Kappa Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College. After graduating from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Belkin did his general surgical training on the Harvard surgical service at Boston City Hospital and then his orthopaedic training at Tufts University. Dr. Belkin was a full time acedemic orthopeadic surgeon at Tufts from January, 1976 through June, 1981. During that time, Dr. Belkin was chief of the adult spinal surgical service at Tufts New England Medical Center.

Dr. Belkin was a primary FDA investigator in the evaluation and ultimate approval of chemonucleolysis, an injectable treatment for disc herniation. Dr. Belkin presently treats general orthopedic problems and is particularly interested in spinal problems, treating conservatively with minimal injection procedures and with surgery. He also subspecializes in sports injuries, arthroscopies and trauma.
