A note from David Harris, Jr. '87 alerted me of a plaque honoring Duncan Sleigh on the Duncan Sleigh Square in Marblehead, MA. Duncan was president of the 1963 Marblehead High School senior class who chose to join the Marines to serve in Vietnam. A platoon commander, he died in 1968 during a firefight while evacuating wounded buddies from a battlefield, shielding them with his body. Duncan was awarded the Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism during combat. David Lowenstein, class Head Agent, reports the class raised $180,648 with nearly 340 classmates (52%) contributing; well done! Thank you for your generosity. Remember the upcoming 60th Birthday Year. Dave Mangelsdorff (3410 Turtle Village Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78230-3918) e-mail to dmangels@txdirect.net 210-344-0942
