Since coming to office in January 2001, the Bush Administration has blocked every attempt by Ex POW's of WWII from collecting just reparations from the Japanese companies which used them as slave labor.

Now the same Administration is blocking Ex POW's from the 1991 Persian Gulf War from collecting just reparations from the Iraqi's for their mistreatment.

The maltreatment of United States military and civilian prisoners by the Japanese during World War II Congress and the Administration have been and continue to drag their feet on these and other veterans issues while survivors and widows die.
